Cox Farms

Thursday I went with Terrell's class to Cox Farms. At first I was not going to go because I couldn't afford to take off from work for a day, but he was very sad when I told him I couldn't go, so I felt bad and agreed to go. I am very happy I made the decision to go because the smile he had the whole time was worth every minute. He had a blast. A lot of parents were able to come so we only had about 3 kids each. Which was perfect. The two other boys I had were wonderful. Very quiet and good.



When we got there he saw his friend from school that is in a different class.



We saw a cow and had the opportunity to milk the cow but the boys had no interest in doing that. Actually they had no interest in seeing the cow. "It smells" they said.



After we saw the cow we went on a hayride around the farm.



During the ride we were greeted by aliens and saw Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snooopy.




We even got to see where Michael Jackson was buried.



Towards the end of the ride the tractor got stuck in the mud so the big headed guy had to come out of his house to help us out.


After the hayride we went to the big slide and the kids loved it. They didn't want to stop.



But I was able to pull them away for a bit so that we can see the piglets and the mama pig.



Going back to the big slide, we crossed the troll bridge and found another slide.





After a few more times on that slide and the big slide we went to pick up our pumpkins and headed back to the bus to go back to the school.



That was our day at Cox Farms. It is really a fun place for kids with lots to do!
