DC Tourist For The Day

On Friday, we picked up the kids early from school and went to DC to see the monuments.  We went to the Washington Monument, stood outside the White House, went to the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial.  It was such a gorgeous day for February.  It was 77 degrees.  Just perfect weather for walking around the nations capital.  It was a good day.

 It took us forever to get back to the car which was near the Jefferson Memorial.  We walked forever.  But it was a beautiful walk along the Tidal Basin.
