New Furniture

I just love getting new stuff for the house.  Especially furniture and especially since we never bought NEW furniture before.  It has always been used and not really want I wanted but I really didn't have a choice so I kind of just had to go with it.


So....in October Kevin and I  decided to buy a new couch, bedroom set and TV. 


Our couch at the time was WAAAAY past it's time.  I don't even want to say how old that couch was.  I hated it!! Every time I walked through the door or came downstairs I was kind of hoping it would have somehow been replaced with a new one.  I cringed every time I saw it.  I always tried to cover it with blankets but that never lasted and didn't look to good after a while.


Our old bedroom set was well......we didn't have one.  It was just a bed and an old used, dresser that was falling apart that I got through Freecycle (at the time it wasn't falling apart). 


Our old TV all of sudden decided to die on us.  It wasn't that old either.  I was surprised.  But because we love to watch TV, movies, and play video games, we could not go without one for too long.  So we decided to upgrade. Well Kevin decided to upgrade.


We had the living room like this at first but because it was kind of closed off we decided to re-arrange the living room so it was more open.

This is how our living room is now. Now it's too open for me.  I like the old way better.  It was cozier but this is entertaining friendly whereas the other way was not.
