This year Kierra played winter travel basketball for Herndon. This was her first time playing basketball. Her BFF Marlise was on the team with her. Usually you have to try-out for the travel team but because their wasn't enough girls for this age group the coach just accepted whoever signed up.
For Kierra's first year playing she did really well. She was great on defense. Very aggressive. On offense she needed to work on her dribbling and shooting the ball.
The team did not do so well. They won two games out of 10. They were ranked 9th.
Even though they didn't win a whole lot she enjoyed it very much and had a really good time.
