Our Christmas Tree

We put our tree up Saturday evening as well as the house decorations. It was lots of fun listening to Christmas music and decorating the tree and the rest of the house. I was surprised that the cinnamon/applesauce ornaments we made last year still had their cinnamon smell. It just fills the house with their wonderful smell. The star on the top of tree was handmade by big Kevin out of construction paper. He did not like the angel that we had sitting on top of the tree so he made a star. It actually looks pretty good on the tree.

The kids just love this time of year and I hope they will continue to do so when they get older and have a family of there own. One of the best parts for me is looking at the lighted tree when the rest of the house is dark. It is so beautiful and there is something so peaceful about it too.
